Finding The Ideal Hotel

Unless you already know which hotel you would prefer to stay in during your visit to ExCeL London, you may be wondering how best to select the ideal hotel for your needs.Please remeber that on-site hotels are booked up well in advance, so for large shows such as Salon International, The World Travel Market (WTM), London Expo, Festival of Life and the Boat Show you may well need to widen your search using the Proximity tool.

There are a number of search criteria on the right handside of the page, which you can use to help identify the best options. You can use one, some or all of these to refine your search.

Arrival Date: 

This is the most important starting point, as some hotels may not be available on the dates you require.

Type:

In addition to hotels, you can select townhouse hotels for smaller, luxury accommodation, or self-catering. The self-catering category includes apartments which can be booked for short stays.

Proximity:

The various distances given are measured from ExCeL London (or another landmark) to the hotel. First select the landmark you want to measure from, then choose a perimeter distance to find all the hotels within that area. Each hotel description includes public transport directions to ExCeL London.

Name:

If you know the name of the hotel you prefer, simply enter it here to find it.

Grading;

You can search for accommodation by the star rating awarded by one of the various official bodies (RAC, AA, etc), or by self-accreditation. Offical ratings will appear in the full hotel details.

Price:

If you are working to a budget, you can click the price box and it will ask for a minimum and maximum price range to search within. The results will be based on the guide prices provided by the hotels. It may be that you will find a different rate by searching on the specific dates at each hotel.
